I have five Nest Protects in my home, two are hardwired and three are on battery. Two of the battery Protects recently had their batteries replaced with Energizer lithium batteries. After replacement, all the other (three remaining) were still announcing that the two other Protects had low batteries. Each of the Protects that had their batteries replaced were only announcing that the other of the two had low batteries. The Nest app on iOS was reporting that all Protects had healthy batteries.
I performed a factory reset on all of the Protects in my home and named them accordingly. The two that were reporting low batteries have custom names, so I chose the same announced names as they had before. After this, the same announced report was happening, three (two hard wired, one battery) were announcing the other two as low batteries and the two that had batteries replaced were reporting that the other had a low battery. I changed the announced name on the two that have custom names to be something different than what it was before and pressed their respective buttons to save the name. When I press the button on any of the Protects, they still announce the same Protects have low batteries, however they are using the old announced names.
tl;dr
After battery replacement and full factory reset of all Protects:
Family Room (hard wired) <announced as Family Room> = announces Kids Room and Master Bedroom have low battery
Living Room (hard wired) <announced as Living Room> = announces Kids Room and Master Bedroom have low battery
Office (battery) <announced as Office> = announces Kids Room and Master Bedroom have low battery
Main Bedroom (battery) <announced as Upstairs (used to be Master Bedroom)> = announces Kids Room has low battery
Meagan's Bedroom (battery) <announced as Bedroom (used to be Kids Room)> = announces Master Bedroom has low battery.
Any help would be appreciated on resolving this issue.

Hello rodvillegas
Thanks for posting in the Community.
I’m sorry to hear that you’re having trouble with the Nest Protect. I appreciate you sharing all the steps you’ve tried to fix the issue. Let’s check it out.
After Nest Protect is paired or processes a software update, Nest Protect will calibrate its sensors and battery level over the next 24 hours. Leave the original batteries in the Nest Protect for now. If the low battery alert ceases after 24 to 48 hours, it’s expected behavior.
If the issue persists, please follow the steps below:
You can also use the Nest app to get the Nest Protect’s version number.
Open the Nest app > Go to Settings > select the affected Nest Protect > tap Technical info > look for the version number.
To further assist you, please provide the Nest Protect’s software version.
Keep me posted.
All the best,
Lance

The affected Nest Protects are on 3.5.0.3. I also tested my other Nest Protects and they are also 3.5.0.3.

An update for others who may have come here.
The team has asked me to remove and reset the devices that are having the issue. I have done this and the issue persists.
Things that I am trying on my own but still don't have an effect.
So as it stands, there is no solution for my issue.
