Nest smoke detector not working

Can you provide more details?  How do you know it's not working, can you run a check via the nest app? Are there any lights showing on the protect? Is it wired or battery? If battery, have you replaced the batteries in case they have died?

Sorry you said batteries are charged, are you using the proper energizer ultimate lithium ones or rechargable?  If rechargable then these tend to cause issues as they don't out out the same amount of power.  Saying that will escalate just in case. 

Can you let us know the age of the units ?
