Hi,
I moved and had to leave my old Nest Protects behind. I removed them individually from the app and they no longer appear. I've just installed a *new* set which now give me a pulsing yellow heads up: "nest protect is offline in <three rooms I no longer have, and don't appear in the app>". The six that I've added do appear in the app, and appear green.
I'm not sure how to further troubleshoot, and would appreciate any theories

For posterity: The answer to this question is "ignore it for 24hrs and it'll figure itself out". If only more IT problems worked this way.
Maybe the best plan is to activate your second set of Nests and leave them in a box for a day so it doesn't bother your kids at night?
