How do I solve this..thank you

Yes I did. I believe I resolved it. I had the Google home app and the Nest app using my phone location. I turned off the Google home app and Nest is now working. Which one should I use?

I don't know. We don't use home/away.

Hello Rocco1, 

Thanks for posting here in the Community. If you only have a Nest Protect device on your Google Nest Account it would be best to just turn on the phone location on the Nest app. With your phone location on your Nest Protect will do a Sound Check monthly. Here is a link to know more about Sound Check.
