I am getting the pulsing yellow light on several of my nest protects.
- looked it up and all errors associated with this light ring should have a voice warning and messages to my app, nothing, just the light ring keeps going off.
- Ran a full test and no error’s showing.
it started a few days ago when we had an internet outage but everything is connected now and still the light ring goes off, any suggestions much appreciated.

Hey Stavros99,
I'm sorry for the delay and trouble. To confirm, were you able to hear a chirping sound while it's on yellow status light? When was the last time you replace the battery? I'd suggest replacing it to make sure it gets enough power. Check out this link for additional help.
Thanks,
Archie

Hi aatienza,
Thanks for your reply.
There was no chirping or noice of any kind. The protects were installed just 3 months when this happened and all batteries full.
the only explanation was the internet outage the days before, yet once it was reconnected 12+ hours many of them kept giving this light signal?

Hey Stavros99,
Thanks for getting back to us. Let's try rebooting your Nest Protect by removing the battery, then put it back in. If that doesn't work, reset it to its default settings might do the trick. Learn more here.
Thanks,
Archie

I have seen the response’s but none explain why lights kept flashing on some of my protects for days after an internet outage. Best advice I got was ti reboot, but it happened months ago. It will remain a mystery but seems they are not as stable and reliable as I expected for what they cost.

A bunch of my nest protects (I have 12) started giving the green light ring once lights turned off, the “nightly promise” that its working, yet I have this option turned off in the app for all.
just like any computer, these are buggy little devices. I bet a reboot and install fixes it, except that’s not acceptable stability for a smoke alarm. I only have them 9 months and getting all these signals that should not be occurring. It does not inspire confidence, I worry the actual alarms will start triggering false positives sooner or later.
