Is there a way I can remotely stop a nest fire alarm from beeping due to a low battery? I'm away for a few months and it's driving the neighbors crazy.

Hi @767pilot,
Thanks for posting in the community forum. I'm sorry to hear your Nest Protect is chirping due to a low battery. No worries, I'm here to help.
To turn off your Nest Protect, you should remove the batteries from the device itself. Our Nest Protect doesn't have an option to do this remotely, and it will chirp until the batteries are changed. I understand that this information may not be what you were hoping for. To learn more about this, please check out the following article: Replace Nest Protect's batteries.
Please let me know if you have any questions from here, as I'd be happy to take a closer look and assist you further.
Cheers,
Jonathan

Might I suggest you out add this feature, remote shutoff? I am gone for many months and it's driving my neighbor a bit crazy.
I have to add this to my list of why I feel these nest products were a horrible investment. Over priced, over sensitive, and now this. Wish I'd never bought them.
