System Ready

One of our 2nd Gen smoke alarms keeps saying "System Ready" several times a day and night.  It's 6 metres from the router.  Wakes us up in the middle of the night.  We just want to throw it away.

Thanks for reaching out here in the Community. I know this unwanted alert has been troubling you. You may try performing a safety checkup. If you have at least one 2nd gen Nest Protect in your home, you can run a Safety Checkup with the Nest app.

1. Sign into your account in the app.

2. Select Nest Protect on the home screen.

3. Tap Checkup at the bottom of the screen.

 

In case you’re still having the same issue, you may try removing your Nest Protect to your Nest app and perform a reset to the factory default then add it back to the Nest app.
