Hi, I have 2 gen 2 smoke alarms set up in my house, both are only 5 days old and hard wired, one seems to have lost wifi connectivity within the last 24hrs. I have tried all the trouble shooting google offer on the nest app, but still can not get one of them ( closest to the router) to connect.
Every other function on it seems fine though.
Thanks in advance Jeff

Hey Jeff,
Sorry to hear about one of your Nest Protect devices not connecting back to your Wi-Fi network as well as for the delayed response. I'd like to take a look further into it.
Just to cover all the bases, could you provide rundown of the steps you've tried? Also, do you get a specific message or code on your Nest app when reconnecting it back to your Wi-Fi network? If yes, what is it?
I'll look forward to your response.
Best,
Melba

Hi Melba,There was no fault coming up, just showing grey on the app.I have since resolved the problem. It may have been a problem with my device (not entirely sure).I deleted the app and factory reset both smoke detectors and removed the batteries. I loaded the app onto another device and followed the set up procedure again and was able to connect both to wifi. I then loaded the app back onto my original device and paired them which has resolved the problem.Thankyou for your reply.Jeff
