Won’t appear in Google Home

Hi,

Why does not my Google Nest Protect show up in Google Home?

I tried everything for 3 days… I made a new home, reconnect Wi-Fi, reinstalled both Wi-Fi and Nest Protect etc etc?

Hi Mystah,

The Protects use the Nest app and don't show up in the Google Home app. Install the Nest app and you should see them there.

So i bought a smart Google product for 140€ that is not working on Google Home?

i read about people who made it work btw

Hi,

I tried to chat with you several times but you keep answering questions I never asked and also you close the chat each time I ask this question and here is the problem and a lot of people have it to.

I have the Google Nest protect smoke detector but when i try to connect Nest to Google Home app it asks me to login with an Nest account but i only have an Nest account signed with Google because there is no other way to sign up to Google Nest which leads to no possibility to connect them together?

(It is working in the same home as Google Home but in the Nest app)
