I am about install all new smoke detectors in a house I am renovating. I bought one nest smoke detector (hard wired) to test the setup. I have used them in the past, but this time it simply won’t make it through the setup. It pukes when it is trying to connect to the device (while loading network setup). I have rebooted the nest routers, I have reloaded the app, I have reset the detector. What other ideas do people have
Honestly why is this a challenge at all? I will try again tomorrow then I am sending it back and will go to first alert.
Google, after five years this should not be an issue.
