new batteries but still showing low

So I have seen many entrees to people having the same issue.  New batteries are put in (the correct kind) and the system still shows low batteries.  I have tried several times to reinstall FRESH batteries and the unit is showing low batteries on the app.  WHY is no one helping out on this issue

To get a better understanding of the situation, please help me out by answering the following questions:

  • What type of Google Nest device do you have?
  • When did the issue start?
  • Do you see a low battery notification in the Nest app or Google Home app?
  • Please send me a picture of the batteries you use in the Google Nest device.

Any additional details you can provide will be helpful.
