A/C unit outside does not come on

My AC worked with the old thermostat. I switched to the nest thermostat and now my A/C does not work. I'm trying to rule out my thermostat before I go open the outside unit to see if it's something is wrong inside the unit. Attached are all the pictures. I also tried troubleshooting by switching the Y1 and green wire but same problem no A/C.

@Jasonr9546

Have you checked if you blew a fuse on the control board?

I am getting 24v to the outside unit from the thermostat. Something is wrong with the outside unit. When I hold in one of the contactors the unit comes on. I think it's the control panel or transformer inside the unit that has gone bad.

Hi Jasonr9546,

Thanks, we appreciate you checking that for us. Currently, the best option is to contact a local HVAC technician to check your control panel. Once you have an update, let us know and we'll be happy to help.

I appreciate your assistance, @Patrick_Caezza.

Best,

Zoe

Hey there,

Before I mark things as resolved, I wanted to check and see if there might be anything else you needed on this or to see if you had any other questions. If there's more you need, just let us know.

Thanks,
Zoe

I am on vacation but hopefully the wiring is correct and when I get back I'll fix it. You can go ahead and close this.
