I’ve had my thermostat for a year and all’s been fine until yesterday; I clicked I the Nest app but instead of the screen showing the heating option on the left and hot water on the right, I was asked to log in via Google. I did this and the screen now shows Home, and below it a + sign to add product. This is both from mi iPhone or iPad. I’ve tried removing ad reinstalling the app but no difference. The ‘stat is connected to the internet (as is the iPhone). I tried Add Product and took a picture of the QR code and am then asked to enter the 7 digit number shown on the ‘stat, but all I get is ‘already connected’. Help!
Are you logging into the Google Nest app with the same Google account you previously used to login? The results you're describing are what would happen if you logged into the Google Nest app with a Google account that had never been used with Google Nest products before.
