Hi..
up until last night my Nest Thermostat was connected to my Nest App on my iPhone. My pilot light needed to be reset to my furnace and as a result I had to reconnect my Nest Thermostat to wifi, etc.
The thermostat is working fine and connected to wifi and all is good with that. But the app on my phone is useless! I have updated it, I updated software on my phone, I have followed all troubleshooting listed on the app and it is still registering as “offline”.
my iPhone is connected to my wifi, everything else in the house is connected to wifi, but the app on my phone cannot connect with the Nest. I am about to throw my phone against the wall. It shouldn’t have to take hours to figure this out.

Have same problem similar issues. App not connected. Trying to reset password and not receiving email from Nest. Can reinstall as the thermostat is already assigned to an account,mine, which I can’t get into. No help desk from Nest.
