Bought and installed months ago and everything worked fine. Lately the thermostat has been shutting off due to low battery. So I take it off and charge it via USB and then plug it back on and everything works fine for a couple of hours then i have to repeat the process. I have checked the wiring and checked the breakers, and everything is the way its supposed to. The help center says the voltage has to be between 3.8 to 3.6 otherwise is shuts off, after months of working fine. How can I fix this issue.
I have submitted a ticket for it but representative just ask the same question and doesn't do anything just wait.

Do you have it wired to with a C common wire? It needs a common to keep battery charged up.
Also you can go into the settings and see the voltage displayed.
Take pics of the wiring on the base you have now.

No I don't believe is has a c wire. I have it wired just like it said in the app and it worked perfectly fine for months never had an issue.

Is this a heating system and A/C?
I see you have the OB wire which is usually only for heat pump systems.
Is there one more wire tucked in the wall not being used in the cable probably a blue wire?
If you have extra wire you can use it as the C common and connect it on the system terminal strip to C screw then that will most likely resolve the power issues.
Take a pic of the wires connected at the system end to make sure you have a C terminal screw.

Yes it's a ac and heater. No other wire was there when this was installed. When the last thermostat was removed these were the same wires that were used.

You need to connect a C wire to solve the problem.

Sorry for the delay response I was unable to log back in. How to I connect a c wire ? Hopefully not too complicated

Take pic of the thermostat wires on the heating system end showing the terminals.
We need to see if you have a C terminal on the unit.

No, I had the c wire installed by a professional and it fixed the issue temporarily. But, now the thermostat doesn't turn on anymore I had it Uninstalled because it's not worth the hassle anymore.
