I have a heat pump and gas furnace. When the system switches from the heat pump to Alt Heat, nothing happens on Alt Heat. After the room temperature drops sufficiently, Alt Heat Stage 2 finally brings the gas furnace to life. How do I get the Nest to realize my gas furnace only has one stage?
