Amana heat pump with new nest thermostat

I have an Amana heat pump that has the brown wire going to the W/E connector. Where would that go on the 4th generation nest thermostat?

Thank you Manuel. Now I am trying to figure out how to attach a picture. Once I do that, I will send what I have.

Hi jcdenton,

Thanks for your reply. I recommend connecting the W2 wire to the (*) terminal and changing the thermostat's orientation to (O). Please follow these steps:

1. On your thermostat, go to Settings.
2. Select Equipment.
3. Select Continue.
4. Select heat pump.
5. The Nest Thermostat defaults to an O setting for heat pumps.
6. If the B option is highlighted, select O.
