Any connect nest thermostat device

I get to the end of the setup and it says “searching for nearby nest devices to assist” or something like that, but it never finds any and I’m stuck. I have setup one nest thermostat but have 3 to go.

I am having the same issue. The Home app says "searching for an assistant device" then it gives up.

I was able fix it by removing the first thermostat I connected and start again. Hope that helps.
