I have 4 thermostats 3 for heat. 1 for AC. I want to replace my AC thermostat with one that is easier to see and control. Will the purchase of a Nest thermostat that only controls AC be possible to purchase and will wait for your response.
I will also need professional installation.
Not interested in thermostats with many bells and whistles. Just something easy and good. Thanks

You can use any model Nest to control AC only. When you set it up you tell it the type of system you are controlling and it walks you thru the wiring etc.
You could install it yourself it is not very complicated and for ac only there will be Rc Y G and you should connect common wire if the old tstat has no common you use a unused wire in the existing cable (blue if you have it) and connect as the common at the ac air handler ( C terminal) and on the nest.
