I have auto schedule off. On manual schedule I have 71 days 70 night. Every night about 8 pm it changes to 68 degrees. What am I doing wrong?

It is. I’ve checked setting to make sure learning mode was off but I have to be missing something

Hi everyone,
@tvbcrypto, thanks for sharing another possible step.
@Whoelse, I appreciate you've tried to find a fix. Let's find out more about what happened.
Are you enrolled in a Rush Hour Program? This is an energy program feature with your utility company to save energy and reduce grid expenses. The Nest thermostat automatically adjusts temperatures before and during rush hour.
Looking forward for your response.
Thanks,
Mark

I am not enrolled in a rush hour program. Every night it self changes to 68 degrees. All learning modes are off and my schedule is set to 70 at night and 71 in the morning

Hi folks,
Thanks for confirming that with us. Let’s get this sorted — a few questions: what type of Nest thermostat do you have? When did the issue start? What other strange symptoms have you experienced since the problem started? Does the issue happen on heating only, cooling only, or both? Also, have you experienced any power outages within the last few days or weeks?
Going over the steps here might help:
Nest app:
Open the Nest app > tap Settings
> Home/Away Assist > Home or Away > select the thermostat > switch off automatic switching.
Home app:
Open the Google Home app > tap Routines
> Home or Away > select the thermostat action > tap Remove action
> Save.
I appreciate the help here, Mark and Jake.
Thanks,
JT
