1.Can I over ride google nest and just use heating when needed rather than use thermostat to main temperature all day??
2.When the thermostat is switched on-the boiler starts heating all day -what is the use of Schedule time??
Many thanks

1. You can perform a temporary override of the schedule at any time, by turning the ring to a new temperature. (Or push the up/down arrows in your browser or nest app.) The Nest will aim at that temperature until the next set point in your schedule, and then it will revert to the scheduled times and temperatures. See https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9248184?hl=en#Learning-E&zippy=%2Ccontrol-your-thermost...
2. I may not understand your question. Are you saying that you do have a schedule programmed, but the boiler keeps running (and heating your home) even after the schedule calls for a temperature that's below the current room temperature? If so, make sure that Home/Away Assist is Off and make sure that you are not on Eco Mode.
