nest thermostat

I had trouble getting my nest thermostat to work. I restored it to factory setting, now I am trying to set it up again with google home app and thermostat won't connect?

I’m having a similar issue, I get an error, but I can’t see the whole message. My thermostat is working, but not connected to Google home

I was able to figure out what the problem was by looking at the Nest device itself, not the Google Home app. Navigated to equipment to learn that one of the wires wasn’t properly connected.
