Battery not charging

I have had my Nest for 9 months and it won’t charge. Says battery low

Hi there, 

 

Thanks for posting here in Community and I'm sorry to hear about the situation. Can you help me with your Nest Thermostat's power reading?  

 

  1. To open the Quick View menu, press the thermostat’s ring.
  2. Choose Settings.
  3. Turn the ring to highlight Technical Info then press the ring to select it.
  4. Select Power
    • VOC
    • VIN 
    • IIN

I have the same issue but I can't get it to turn back on. I believe all 3 on mine were between 28-31

A few questions: what type of Nest Thermostat do you have? You can visit this link to check what type of thermostat you have. Have you recently experienced power outages in your area? Do you see any blinking light on your thermostat?
