Nest Thermostat Usage History

I'm trying to find a way to check heating hours for longer than the 10 day history available in the app (I don't have all of the home report e-mails to check back on).

I've used Google Takeout but whilst this contains a lot of data there doesn't seem to be a way to find out how long the heating was actually on for each day/month. I've searched online and it seems like a lot of people have had this issue in the past but is there any solution for this (UK)?

Thanks for reaching out to us here @kmw14 . I would be happy to try and assist. At the moment, as you mentioned, you will only see the past 10 days for the heating history. The one thing you can check for more information on a monthly basis is the Nest home report. You can check the information it provides as well as how to enable it here. This will give you some extra information on a monthly basis once enabled.

Hi there, I just wanted to check in with you! Did you see the message from my colleague?

Hi, yes thank you for both of your messages. I am set up for the monthly summary e-mails but I no longer have copies of older ones that have been deleted so I was trying to find a way to get that historic information.

Hi there! You won't receive previous Home Reports if it wasn't activated so far, you'll only receive the reports once you've activated the reports. The only way you can find the past information is by downloading your data from Google. You can have a look at this article: https://goo.gle/3hNR3pm .
