The one room sensor I have now shows as offline. I have gone through the troubleshooting steps. On the App, the bedroom sensor shows offline. When I click on the sensor, I see the troubleshooting issues list. I have gone through this and still can't get my thermostat to recognize this sensor. I have moved it closer, unplugged my router and plugged it back in, I've double checked the wifi setup for the nest, still nothing. I have even replaced the battery (since it was 2 1/2 years old...even though it didn't say the battery was low) and still nothing. This sensor worked until just before Christmas. When I go to Manage Sensors, I see 1 Device, the Bedroom Senor, and it shows a blue check mark, so it does recognize it. When I click on that one listed, I get the message "Choose a new thermostat first". Why would I have to select a new thermostat when the Nest works fine. This worked until about 2 weeks ago. I think I have tried all the tips and need some help. Any help would be appreciated.

Case solved! I found another post that mentioned doing a Restart on the Nest thermostat. It worked like a charm and was so easy. If you do a restart, it saves all of your settings and the sensor showed back up!
