Good evening
i have just moved house and now have one of these and it’s brilliant but, I need to connect it to my app and I can’t as it’s connected to someone who used to live here.
how can I get the code needed to set up other than taking it off of the wall?

Unless you get the code from the previous owner you can't. The quickest way is factory reset in settings, and follow the instructions for new setup. This removes the previous owner, and makes the thermostat yours.

@MrsS18, I'm checking in to see if you have already set up your Nest Thermostat. Have you tried the steps suggested by Frustratedddd? I'd be glad to hear from you; we'd like to make sure everything is working.
