High pitched buzzing from the thermostat control stops when u plugged. Is this normal or is there a fault?

Hi Ademarockz,

Thanks for posting ― let's get this sorted out.

A few questions: what Nest Thermostat do you have? Check this link to know what thermostat you have. Since when has this been happening? Also, what troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

Best,
Mel

Thanks for your response I have the Google nest Learning 2nd Gen thermostat. This noise is from the thermostat control unit, it makes it when when plugged into a socket or directly on the Google base. The noise does stop when it is unplugged, this issue started from the first time it was plugged in. I contacted the seller and they said to contact yourselves. Trouble shooting wise please advise?
