Blowing cold air instead of hot

Huntybuntyy

I just purchased a nest a couple of weeks ago. I installed it and tested it and cold air was blowing on heat. I googled it and found some information that suggested I switch a place for a wire so I did. Heat was working great after that. I left the house at 4:30 in the morning and everything was well, but my wife had text me at about 7:30 and said it was freezing in the house and it was blowing cold air. Any ideas?

Hey Huntybuntyy,

Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear that you're having an issue with your Nest Thermostat. I'd love to know more about this and I have a few questions:

1. What type of Nest Thermostat do you have?

2. How is your Nest Thermostat wired?

3. What is the power reading of your Nest Thermostat? You can find this information by going to Settings > Technical Info > Power.

Looking forward to your response.

Thanks,

Archie
