C Wire? Not sure if I have it.

The system is a cooling and heating furnace in the basement with an A/C fan outside. Not sure if the black is the C wire or the RC is the C wire. How would i go about wiring these wires to the nest thermostat?

Hey OrangeC, 

 

Thanks for the photo and for reaching out. 

 

Based on the terminal labels of your current thermostat, you don't have a C wire. A C or a common wire is supposed to be connected to a C terminal which your thermostat does not have.
