C wire for nest thermostat

Hi.i get the warning for a c wire from my nest thermostat. My furnace has 2 wires to my thermostat see picture. I can easily rewire it pretty easy to my thermostat. My question is should I just buy wire with 3 wire connect everyth

ing back the way it was but add the 3rd wire to the c connector. Not sure if it's that easy. Thank you for your help.

If you are going to put in a new thermostat cable, I would choose a 5 or 7 conductor cable.  Thermostat cables use solid copper, 18 gauge conductors.

Hello, sorry for not updating I was away. I did receive the power connector last week. Hooked it up that day went a lot smoother the expected. Everything seems fine no more errors or battery problems. Thank you again for your help.
