Hello, I have a geothermal system and looking at current config I feel I can use nest learning for this configuration but the newt comparability check says it cannot be used. Wanted to get some advice from group

The technical problem is the O and the B being used at the same time when there is a C wire. You need to verify what the O wire and the B wire are controlling.

I haven’t had a chance to find out. Is there an easy way to test what o or b are doing ? I know 2 wires cannot go in one port of nest

Without really knowing the system that well, I’m afraid I can’t give you any good advice on the find out what the oh and the bee wires are doing. Technically an HVAC technician would have to go to the other end of the thermostat cable, and then look for those two wires and see what they’re terminated on to have some idea of what they’re doing and how they will be used. it’s my personal recommendation that you hire a nest pro. That is also an HVAC technician at a company and let them figure this out.
