Can No Longer Log Into My Nest App

I can no longer log into my Nest app as it continues to come back with Wrong Name or Password. I have verified both and both are correct. I have deleted the app and reinstalled it to no avail. 

When I try and reset my password, it fails to send the reset link to my associated account or any other email I own. I also downloaded Google Home but was unable to add the Nest App because or the same login issues. 

I am beyond frustrated and need some help/direction!

Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry for the delay and for the trouble this has caused you. I appreciate you being a step ahead of us. Please try the steps below.

 

  1. Verify your device’s Date and Time settings if it's correct and automatically set.
    1. Settings General Date and Time.
    2. Tap Set Automatically toggle it off and then back on.
    3. Make sure that the timezone, date, and time are correct.
  2. Confirm that the Nest app has permissions to use your phone's location.
    1.  Settings Privacy Location Services Nest.
