Our heat has been on, but it is not heating our house. It has been cold all night can anyone help.

Thanks for reaching out ― let's see what's going on.

Give these steps a try:

Check your air filter, as a clogged filter may cause a similar symptom. 
If the air filter is dirty and needs to be changed, I recommend replacing the air filter and let us know if the issue continues after you change the filter.

I have the same problem and it's not the filter - brand new filter. What's next?

Family member who works in HVAC suggested having heat sensor checked, not an expensive fix.

Thanks! Actually, found the easiest solution - replaced my nest with an ecobee and it worked great..no other changes required. Clearly a nest software issue, but doesn't seem like have acknowledged it yet.

I replaced the nest thermostat it was bad and once I did everything has been working great
