Can't Connect Thermostat to Google home

Pax17

I am unable to connect the Smart learning Thermostat to my Google home.

I already have 2 Indoor/outdoor Nest Cams connected. When I go to add the device everything works great, However once I finish. It does not appear on the app. Any suggestions?

I have tried deleting the home App and reinstalling it.
I've removed the 2 cams and tried to do this 1st and it would not work.

Only the Google Nest Thermostat can be set up using the Google Home app. All other Nest thermostats have to be set up using the Nest app and once that is done they will show up in the Google Home app.

Nope. They don't show up after being added to the nest app.

I have the same issue as stated above..however, I’m trying to add a new Nest Thermostat and it won’t connect to the Wi-Fi and is not appearing in the GOOGLE Home app, which is the app that I’m using to install.

Try using the nest App. thats what worked for me.

I was able to set up the nest learning thermostat in the nest app, but that's where the train stops. I migrated my nest account some time ago to google, but the device somehow got lost in the ether. So it works in the nest app but that's it. No voice control, not playing nice with any of my other 90+ IoT devices.
