Can't access the Nest app whilst using mobile data

Hi everyone 

Since using an Eero 6 router with my fibre broadband I can no longer connect to the Nest app whilst using mobile data. I can access it using WiFi, whether at home or away. The thermostat is connected to my router using a 2.4GHz signal. I also tried connecting the thermostat to my neighbour's WiFi and had the same issue. I can control it using Goggle Home but as I'm away often and often have people staying in my home I'd like to be able to use the full Nest app.

It's OK I realised it was due to the location settings on the Nest app.

Thank you for posting in the community. I understand that you can't use the Nest app while on mobile data, but it works fine when using Wi-Fi. I'm happy to help you!

• What kind of Nest thermostat do you have?

• Did you get any error code or message?
  • If so, please attach a screenshot 
• When did the inconvenience start? 
• What other troubleshooting have you done so far?
