Can’t connect to Nest Thermostat & Heatlink in New Home

Hi there - any help would be much appreciated, I’ve been going in circles for hours!

Moved into a home with existing nest thermostat and heatlink

I haven’t had a nest account before

I factory reset the thermostat (as I needed the 6 digit code)

I went through the setup a new system route

I factory reset the heatlink by holding for 30 seconds 

During setup the thermostat is stuck on ‘Failed to Connect to Heatlink’ - Error H71

I’ve tried - check again, reset pairing and replace heatlink, nothing works

Im on the WiFi and the thermostat is less than 5 meters from the heatlink.

Any advice as to how I can get my system set up?!

The wifi is nothing to do with the pairing of display to heat link, so you can forget a wifi connection!

Which 6 digit code did you need, what were you trying to do?
