Thanks for reaching out. I'd like to know more about it. A few questions: what type of Nest Thermostat do you have? You can visit this link to check what type of thermostat you have. Also, do you see any messages or code on the app? Could you please share a screenshot of the thing you only see in your app? 

If you have the Nest Learning Thermostat or the Nest Thermostat E, please follow this guide:

1. Go to your thermostat Quick View menu.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Turn the ring until you find the word "Nest app".
4. Check for the exact message displayed there.
