Hello,
I have 3 nest thermostats in my house and they’ve been working fine. Issue I’m having is the thermostat in the hallway is for the bedrooms. I purchased the sensor to put in the bedrooms because the hallway was getting heat from the living room where the other thermostat is. My problem is I never actually connected the thermostats to the nest app( which I have). I connected them to the google home app. I need to connect the thermostat to the nest app before I can connect the sensor. When I take a pic of the QR code it tells me I have to set it up on the google home app, which I’ve already done. I’ve been trying so many ways to do this. Also I can't find the entry key for my thermostat either. Thank you

If you set your thermostats up with the Google Home app, you have the Nest Thermostat (2020 model) designed for and setup with the Google Home app, it cannot be added to the Nest app. That model of thermostat is not compatible with the Nest Temperature Sensor, unfortunately.
