Hi, sorry if this has already been asked and answered. My Nest Thermostat has worked flawlessly for months but now all of a sudden I can’t operate it through the Google Home app, but it still works fine through the Nest app? I have tried removing it from my system, factory resetting and adding it again but I can’t get it to respond and be controlled via Google Home. This also means I can’t control it with my voice anymore. Any suggestions?

Hey folks,
Thanks for reaching out here in the Google Nest Community and we're sorry to hear about what's happening.
I'd like to check a couple of things for us to further isolate the issue. Do you see your Nest Thermostat under devices from the Google Home app? Are you getting any error message when you tap on your thermostat from the app? Have we tried restarting your mobile devices and your Wi-Fi router?
Let us know by replying to this thread and we'll be glad to assist you.
Best regards,
Ryan

Hi Ryan, thanks for reaching out.
Like Craig I have the thermostat shown listed under my devices on the Google Home App (it got added automatically when I re-added it to the Nest App)
I get no error message.
It shows the current status of the Thermostat in the Google Home App (ie, Heat, Eco, Off) but I can’t change anything through the Google Home App. The picture of the thermostat dial kind of goes blank as if it’s trying to connect and then just reverts back after a few seconds with nothing happening.
I can continue to control it fine from the Nest App though.
