Can’t seem to locate cooling option on my nest thermostat

Not able to locate cool as an option on thermostat

Changed wiring to match what I found on line. Now cool is an option. But when I select cool, the hvac does not come on n.

Thanks for posting in the Google Nest Community forum. I'd like to check it further. Could you please take a photo of the wires that are connected to your HVAC control board? If you still have the photo of the wires connected to your old thermostat, please share it as well. Also, check your thermostat power readout.

You can follow this guide:

1. Go to your thermostat Quick View menu.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Look for Technical Info.
4. Select Power.
