Used to be able to set and control heating and cooling schedules for my nest learning thermo from the app on my iphone. But the feature no longer works. When I launch the iphone app all I see is a screen with a home icon and the name I assigned to my home under the icon. I checked the wifi connection status at the thermo and it says I am connected. Also, the app for my google wifi net shows a connection. However, here's a puzzler, I can't ping the thermo's ip address from my iphone or ipad.
I'm dazed and confused - anyone out there who can provide some suggestions to resolve my problem?

So you can no longer see your thermostat in the Nest app?
If you open the settings on the thermostat itself, scroll to and select Account connection, what does it say?

Are you logged into the Nest app using the same account you set it up with?

Thanks for the reply. My thermostat says it is connected to the Nest app. That's why I stumped as to why the apps not showing the thermostat. Other than not being able to ping it, all the other settings appear to be ok.

Not to sure what account was used to log into the Nest app at the time I installed the Nest thermostat as it was almost four years ago. Guessing it was a Nest account. Now if I open home.nest.com in my browser and use the login credentials I created at time I can interact with the thermostat via the web page
