I have been using the iPhone app for years but suddenly now I can't sign in or reset my password. I receive no email to reset.

Are you absolutely sure you're using the same Google Account you've always used to sign into the Google Home app to administer your Nest Thermostat?

I'm absolutely certain i am using my Nest account that I have always used for 5 years. This is nonsense - I should be able to reset my Nest password any time I want. Why can't I talk to a real person to do so? I worked in IT for 35 years - I understand what service should be.

My frustration arises because it says my password is invalid yet when I click reset password, I receive no email. Someone needs to respond with a solution or I need to talk to an administrator.

I'm just another customer. The only way I know of to contact Support is to start with this link. On the "Resources" page, just select "Next step" without clicking on any of the online resources in order to get to the next page to select your contact method (chat or phone).

Thanks Jenelyn. All is good - I was able to connect with tech support who instructed me to sign in to the Nest account using my Google credentials. I was not aware that the Nest app was linked to Google - I had thought my Nest sign in was a separate entity. Cheers! John
