Have a Nest account (pre-2019) that is attached to a @sympatico.ca email address that we no longer have any access to. Attempting to migrate to Google in order to continue to operate thermostat from Android app. I enter old email and password, which brings me to a verification screen. Code is being sent to the @sympatico.ca email address that is inaccessible. Loop continues. Is there a way to migration to an @gmail.com account without being able to complete verification step on App? Thank you in advance for help!

I am going to ask a silly question, but why not just set up a Gmail account and use that? Forget your old account for your Nest.
