Cannot detect my WiFi on nest thermostat

I recently started experiencing issues with my nest thermostat. It continues to shut off randomly during the day and the ac unit does not come on. My thermostat has been reading 78-80 when I have it set on 69. I have also experienced low power issues and now issues saying my WiFi is not detected. What’s going on with my thermostat. My thermostat and carrier unit are only two years old.

Hi there!

Thanks for posting here in the community. I'm sorry to hear your Nest Thermostat cannot detect the WI-FI network. Help's here!

To better understand the situation, I'd like to ask a few questions:

  • What type of Nest thermostat do you have?
  • When did the inconvenience first occur?"
  • Did you set up a schedule?
  • Do you have any power error codes?
  • Is the thermostat's display seated properly?
  • Are all the wires of your Nest thermostat seated firmly in its terminals (with no loose or exposed wires)?
  • What is the make and model of your heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment?

Keep me posted.

Regards,

Melany
