Carlin ProX70200 Burner - C Wire Adapter Compatibility

deaton09

A post recently closed regarding the compatibility of Carlin ProX70200 Oil Burners and Nest Learning Thermostats. @unknownling @Jhonleanmel @Bassphil

I now know that a C Wire is needed, but I have been told that an adapter may work. I've researched the Power Connector, but I still can't tell if it's compatible as the Carlin doesn't have the wires labeled R, W, etc etc. But instead are T1, T2, F1, F2.

Can anyone answer, or have experience with the Power Connector working with this system? I think I'm out of luck. But wanted to check all options before continuing to charge my Nest when it gets low, or replacing it with a lower tech solution.

Hello @deaton09,

Thanks for reaching out. Unfortunately, if your system do not have a C terminal, it is best to reach out to a local Nest pro to help out with the installation. They will also be able to tell if your system is compatible with the Nest thermostat.

Hope that helps! 🙂
