Changing honeywell multizone thermostat that has sensors controlling dampers with a nest smart therm

I have a honeywell T4 thermostat which connects with temperature sensors for dampers.  I do not know what to do with these extra wires (see photo).  These wires are in the top left of thermostat wiring block.

Hi akruse6169,

Thanks for reaching out. The S terminals on your current thermostat controls a remote temperature sensor which is not compatible with your Nest Thermostat. You could wire your Nest Thermostat without these 2 wires.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Edward

The dampers are no longer controlled.  Do I need to have another nest in lieu of the sensors to control the dampers?

HI akruse6169,

Thanks for the response. Nest thermostats are usually compatible with zoned systems, which includes zoned systems with dampers. However, some zoned systems that require thermostat damper control aren’t compatible with Nest thermostats.

Thanks,

Edward
