Hi I am posting a photo of my current thermostat.

The wires connected are Red (C), White (W), Green (G), Yellow (Y), jumpwire (connects C and R).

Is my system compatible with Nest Learning Thermostat?

Nest is compatible but wiring needs to be correct. normally we use colored wires to connect to letter designation on thermostat and at control board. Need a better pic with the wires little bit out of the way to see what letters they’re all connected to and what isn’t  connected. You don’t jumper R & C since R is powder & C is common those 2 wire can’t touch otherwise you’d short transformer of fuse link or control board. I see a blue wire thats not connected to anything and that might be your C (common ) that you would put on C at the nest stat but need to confirm it’s also connected to C at control board.
you might have a jumper between Rc & R or Rc & Rh which is ok. Beat Option is to get a AC tech to install nest. Good luck

That's a VERY basic thermostat so Nest should support w/o issues as long as; you can get 24 V AC to the thermostat location. (R) carry power, (C) is your neutral (or 'common'), 'W' sends power back to furnace to trigger heat, (Y) send power to furnace to trigger cooling, (G) send power to furnace to trigger fan.

In your case, you need to ensure you know which wire (regardless of color, don't trust them blindly) connect to which terminal at the furnace's control board. If they are incorrectly terminated at furnace, why not move them accordingly so you get the correct cable on the correct terminal.

After that, setup is a breeze

Thanks for posting in the Google Nest Community forum. I'm sorry for the delay. Please share with us the photo of your system control board, as it will help us to ensure the compatibility or on how your thermostat should be rewired.

You can visit this support article for more information.

I appreciate your inputs, @HVAC and @Wellcraft19.
