Compatibility question

KHALES84
Community Member

I am not sure if my current system would be compatible. It asked me if to select the wires that I currently have and told me that I would be compatible for the nest, nest learning and next E, but it also said if it shows 110 or 120v that it won't work, and mine now shows this. The current unit we have is a Lux TX9600TS. If anyone has any input it would be greatly appreciated.

A photo of the entire backplate of the your old thermostat would help to know for sure on compatibility. The image you have included indicates that whatever the device is (presumably a thermostat) works with low votage only. In other words it is telling you that it is not compatible with 115/230 volts (high voltage). That is the same as a Nest thermostat -  it is not compatible with high voltage.

Your Lux thermostat should be compatible.

Post a picture of its current wiring.
