Condenser running when the heater is on

Hello, I’ve installed a Nest thermostat and the ac  condenser is running while the furnace is running. This is a gas furnace system. 

I have hooked it up exactly as the old thermostat was which is why it makes no sense to me since it was running fine before. 

it is a 4 wire hook up, Y,W,R,G. I have also tried moving W to *O/B but nothing. 

i Can tell the furnace is running fine as it is calling for heat and the pilot light visually comes on. 

The AC works just fine.

Thanks for posting in the Google Nest Community forum. I'm sorry for the delay. I appreciate you being a step ahead of us. I'd like to take a closer look at it. Could you please take a screenshot of your Nest Thermostat's Equipment and System details, and share it with us? 

 

Please follow the guide below:

 

  1. Home app and then tap the thermostat and then tap Settings .
  2. Device feature > Thermostat.
  3. Check for Equipment and System details.
