Conflict between Nest v Home

There seems to be a conflict between Home and Nest with location sensing. In Home I see the blue set location button and do all that. If I then go back to Nest it says my phone is not being used for location sensing. So I fix this in Nest and then Home switches back to not using the phone for presence sensing. The thermostat is our only product using the apps. Can I delete the home app and use just Nest? Could Norton 360 on my phone be a factor?

Hi sempergull,

If you're already sharing your phone location using the Nest app, enabling it in the Home app will disable it in the Nest app. You can only use one app to share phone location at a time.

You can also turn off phone location in your phone’s main settings menu, but this will not only affect the accuracy of Home/Away Assist, it may change how other apps on your phone work, too. Check this guide for more details.
